About Could Be Pretty Cool®

We took the leap. Now we help others do the same. Georgia's only B Corp certified public benefit media and research company.

We started in 2020 with more curiosity than certainty. The creative economy is full of people betting on ideas that matter, and they deserve better tools, better research, and better stories behind them. We didn't know exactly what this would look like. We just knew it could be pretty cool…

About the Founder

Kacie (Willis) Luaders has spent her career at the intersection of sound, story, and the creative economy.

With a BS in Music Recording Technology from Hampton University and an MFA in Sound Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, she's worked as a theatrical sound designer, arts administrator, and producer before founding
Could Be Pretty Cool in 2020.

Since then, she's built CBPC into Georgia's only B Corp certified public benefit media and research company, driven by the belief that creative careers deserve better infrastructure and that the people living them are the best source of insight into how they work.

Kacie currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Podcast Academy. She created the Spotify Original podcast "You Heard Me Write" after being selected for the 2019 Spotify Sound Up accelerator, and has been recognized as one of Podcast Magazine's 40 Under 40 in Podcasting (2022). Her fellowships and recognitions include the 2022 & 2024 Emory Arts and Social Justice Fellowship, 2023 Pharrell Williams' Black Ambition Prize semifinalist, 2023 Google News Initiative participant, and 2024 Truist Foundation Fellow.
