Could Be Pretty Cool started as Could Be Pretty Cool News, a podcast workshopped through the 2023 Google News Initiative, built on a simple premise: the people shaping the creative economy deserve the same attention as the industries they're working inside of.
The show is for creative entrepreneurs, independent artists, and the organizations building infrastructure around them. Each episode is a real conversation about what it actually takes to sustain a creative life: the business decisions, the pivots, the community-building, and the work that doesn't always make the highlight reel. Beyond the podcast, we're committed to being a trusted source of information and qualitative research for the independent creator community, documenting the real conditions, challenges, and opportunities that shape creative careers today.
We've been supported by the Truist Foundation Fellowship and the United Way Building Resilient Entrepreneurs program, and have collaborated with partners including Georgia Public Broadcasting. That support has helped us go deeper with the stories we tell and the communities we serve.
If you're a creative entrepreneur with a story worth sharing, we'd love to hear from you!
